June 1, 2004 Summary

Jessica tells Hope about her summer psychology internship in a letter. Jessica also talks about Google-stalking Marcus. When she Googles his name, five listings appear. The one that most interests her is the last one. It is a picture of Marcus sleeping on a couch with a caption calling him the "infamous Marcus Flutie" by Butterfly.

Marcus has been writing one-word postcards to Jessie. So far she has received two. The first one says "I." The second one says, "wish." Jessie stops hanging out with Jane because of the things Jane says about Marcus. Jessica's new best friend is Dexy. Dexy loves to sing, even though she can't carry a tune, and dresses almost like she is in costume.

William, the guy Jessie cheated on Marcus with, turns out to be the RA for their dorm for the summer. Jessica and William talk...
