Reverend Mother Superior Darwi Odrade

A desperate devote of Other Memories, despite the peril, Odrade has recently inherited the mantle of authority from her late mentor, Alma Mavis Taraza. Not everyone in the Bene Gesserit Sisterhood is pleased with the de facto succession. Raised on a beautiful seacoast by her foster Papa and Mama Sibia, Odrade considers herself "Sea Child." She continues to smile at those times that provide her sense of sanity and balance. Before this "hidden Atreides scion" is taken into the Sisterhood, she learns to love herself, something the Sisters find suspect. Proctors cannot root out her "deep desire for personal affinities," and even rigorous training on Al Dhanab cannot touch her secret core.
