Rebirth, Chapters 7 through 13 Summary

In the seventh chapter, Harmony is sharing a meal of macaroni and cheese with Jondoe and his parents. Jondoe's parents ask if Harmony has siblings. She says she does but isn't certain whether to count Ram as her housebrother now that he is her husband. She asks Jondoe if he has brothers or sisters and he says he has brother named Joshua who was "also my first client."

In the eighth chapter, Melody arrives at the birth center but notes that it's a difficult trip. She remembers Malia and her determination to keep her baby after giving birth. Malia's emotional outburst after the baby was taken away included a suicide attempt. In the ninth chapter, Harmony learns that Jondoe's older brother, Joshua, had married a girl named Hannah but they were too old to have children by the time...
