Chapter 11: Trap Summary

Stile charges into the passage, but the Red Adept is not there. Though Neysa points out a curtain to Proton, it is too dangerous to follow immediately, so Stile spells Neysa to track the Red Adept and himself. In Proton, he finds the Red Adept safe inside her Citizen mother's dome, so he calls Sheen for help before returning to Phaze to destroy the Red Demesnes. After Stile destroys the force-field surrounding the dome, he enters the dome, but the Red Adept drives past, leaving the other cars burning behind her.

Stile returns to Phaze to spell himself ahead of the Red Adept, crossing back to Proton to join Sheen in a car chasing the Red Adept. Sheen is upset to learn that Stile has married Lady Blue, and when their car nearly crashes into the Red Adept's car, Sheen ejects...
