Chapter 7: Hulk Summary

Sheen takes Stile to a private chamber of the maintenance section of the dome where they live where an anonymous machine gives him a partial report about the assassination attempt, including that his enemy is a serf and a Citizen sent Sheen to protect Stile from the serf. The self-willed machines help Stile because an anonymous imperative favors him, and he can help their cause to become serfs if he becomes a Citizen. Stile promises to help the machines when the occasion presents itself.

Stile loses round 5 of the Tourney to an eleven-year old boy who participates in the Tourney for fun, and he becomes upset that luck is turning against him. A holo-tape arrives from the Rifleman, and it shows Hulk going to a dome which is a perfect replica of the Blue Demesnes and asking for Bluette, but when...
