Chapter 2: Lady Summary

Back at the Blue Demesnes, Lady Blue is outraged when she learns that the Herd Stallion wishes to humiliate Stile. Hulk insists upon asking the Oracle how Stile can win the challenge since Stile has already used his only question for the Oracle. After Hulk leaves, Lady Blue decides to acquaint Stile with the way she was since she believes he is an honorable man. Lady Blue grew up in a small village on the east coast and helped her father heal animals. When Snowflake, her horse's foal, is lost in the woods, she searches for the foal but is captured by trolls. A young boy rescues her and takes her home without waiting for gratitude. The next day, her father joins her search for Snowflake, and they encounter the boy, the sole survivor of a troll attack in the village...
