Chapters 7 - 9 Summary

Terry calls Graciela at work, and agrees to meet her for an early lunch despite the fact that he has little to offer her. The cab driver on the way asks him if he is a police man, but he tells him that he is no one. Graciela doesn't have much time, but they sit at a window in the cafeteria and she ask him questions about his life. Then he fills her in on his morning meeting and lack of accomplishments. He tells her he will cook for her and Raymond if she will come and tell him more about her sister. Getting back to the boat, Terry is tired and sore. He checks his pressure and temperature, and lies down but is unable to sleep. He reviews the case again, has a bite to eat, and after cleaning up...
