Chapters 18-20; Epilogue Summary

Chapter 18:

Roz and Mitch go to the country club. Roz is introduced to Josh. Shelby is Josh's date. Shelby introduces Josh and Mitch to her parents. Her mother, Jan, is extremely rude to Roz. Roz feels bad for Shelby. Shelby and Josh join Roz and Mitch at their table. Roz manages to hide any ill will.

Bryce comes into the room. Roz excuses herself and goes to the ladies room. Cissy enters and talks about her gardens and the arrival of Bryce. Mandy and Jan storm into the restroom. Mandy threatens Roz about harassing her. Jan says Roz has also caused Quill to lose an important client. Roz is furious but handles it with aplomb.
