At the end of the soccer season, Mike takes the kids on a trip to a carnival with Cindy, Beth, Mr. Castro, and Mr. Illing as chaperones. It is chaos from the moment they arrive, but Beth finds herself relaxing all the rules Bobby always made about these sort of amusements and enjoying the happiness she sees in the children.
