The Planet

This is where Valerian and Laureline crash, putting them in contact with the aliens who force them to work for the master. The images in this graphic novel show swamps, fjords, lakes, mountains, and desolate areas. There is an area where the Master resides, which is off limits to everyone else. The planet is not named and is referred to only as the planet throughout the guide.

The Pit

This is where Sul and others are thrown after they have been attacked by the Birds of Madness. The pit is literally a large hole in the ground. Anyone placed in the pit is thrown in with no regard for their safety or landing. Valerian and Laureline manage to help the group out of the pit as they are trying to rescue Sul.
