Back at school, the friends all gather for an assembly. They have a new principal this year, whom none of them respect. At the assembly, several friends join Anna, Sam, and Cammie: Dee, who is into mysticism and talks about it constantly, Cammie's boyfriend Adam, a generally nice guy, and Parker. Parker starts flirting outrageously with Anna, but when she calls him on it, it emerges that he's up for a part in a television show in which he would play a nice guy who flirts with everyone.
