Chapters 27-31 Summary

Harry meets with Irving and Lindell, catching them up on the investigation as protesters can be heard screaming on the streets below them. Harry insists that Sam Kincaid killed Stacey Kincaid and that it is likely that Kincaid killed Elias when he realized Elias was about to reveal this secret in court. Kincaid most likely learned about Elias' investigation when Elias gained access to Charlotte's Web. Harry tells Irving that he intends to serve search warrants on the Kincaids in the morning and will hopefully get the evidence he needs to prove his theories. In the meantime, Harry requests that Sheehan be released. Irving agrees reluctantly, allowing Sheehan to go but insisting that his weapon be tested against the bullets recovered from Elias anyway. A press conference is held a short time later. This time Harry's partners attend despite their reluctance...
