Chapters 81-90 Summary

The television screen shows a reporter announcing that two of the cardinals have been murdered. A guard appears at the door and tells Olivetti that the switchboard is requesting the Vatican's official position on the reports. The television goes on to show the footage that Macri recorded earlier at both sites. The report also says that the Illuminati are claiming responsibility for the murders and for the Pope's death fifteen days ago. The reporter shifts to Glick, who is on the phone. He says that the Illuminati assassin told him that the Pope had been poisoned through Heparin, his medication.

In the Office of the Pope, the camerlengo confirms that the Pope took Heparin. Vittoria says that the drug is lethal in the wrong dose. The camerlengo says that no one on the outside.....
