On the train to Connecticut, Aidan reads an article in the Saturday "Times" that claims Indigo Holdings was the likely target of the bomb, but he decides against calling Derrick or Cressida because he does not want them involved yet. He disembarks from the train at Rhinecliff and takes a cab to his mother's farmhouse in Shady where he finds her with Simon Krauss and some friends having a dinner party.
