Chapters 24 & 25: Summary

CHAPTER 24

Em is determined to see Christopher in the computer lab. She finds him 15 minutes before class begins and hands him her new laptop, asking him to hook up her remote access to the school's email account. Christopher won't look at her and she begin to think Frida and Lulu are wrong about his feelings for Em. She engages him in conversation and tells him she remembers him from the accident at the store where the girl died. She asks if he misses Em. Christopher says he does and then says nothing more. Em half expects Stark Enterprises to come out of the sky and get her in trouble. She badly wants Christopher to know she is Em, but she can't pay the 2 million she would owe if her secret gets out.
