Chapters 55 and 56 Summary

Hollywood comes over to Maybe's house late at night. He apologizes to her and says he would never do anything o hurt her. She apologizes for punching him but says he should have warned her about the film. He says he thought he did. Hollywood asks Maybe if she could ever have feelings for him, but she says she can't. maybe asks Hollywood about the line her mother says in the film, which is that she loves Maybe but Maybe doesn't think she does. Hollywood says Chessy was drunk when she said it but that doesn't mean it's not true. The next morning, Maybe takes a cab to the travel agency.
