Maybe runs out of the restaurant frantically searching for Ted. When she finds him, she throws herself into his arms, crying. Maybe tells him everything that happened. Ted urges Maybe to take the DNA test so she'll know one way or the other. Then, Maybe realizes she has a black pouch in her hands that Gary have to her. When she opens it, she finds $5,000 in cash inside. When they get back to the Rolls-Royce, Maybe tells Ted that Gary hinted that there is more money to come if she is his daughter.

Maybe decides to watch the DVD of Hollywood's film. As she watches it, she realizes that the girl she sees on the film isn't as bad as she thought she was. the librarian even says she wishes there were more students like Maybe Chestnut.
