Chapters 41 and 42 Summary

Ted and Hollywood visit Maybe at the taco truck. Hollywood falls all over Jess. Ted take Hollywood and Jess for a ride in the Rolls-Royce while Maybe cleans the truck. Maybe finds Jess's acceptance letter to Princeton. When they get back, Hollywood shows Maybe the ad looking for Gunnar they placed in the paper.

Jess tells Maybe she has a date with Daniel, which is Hollywood's real name. At home, Willow tries to get advice from Maybe about her relationship with Sammy. Willow also mentions possibly losing a commercial because she slouches. Maybe spends the next few hours using charm school training on Willow.

Chapters 41 and 42 Analysis

Maybe doesn't want Hollywood but she doesn't want anyone else to have him either. Maybe is starting to get jealous of Jess and Hollywood.
