Felicity

Felicity Juniper Pickle is the main character and narrator of the novel, “A Snicker of Magic”. Eleven years old, Felicity is a sweet, warm, and sensitive girl who pays careful attention to the world around her. This is because she collects words, which she senses and sees around people, places, and things. She spends much of her time writing down these words, thoughts, feelings, and poetry in a blue notebook she is never without, but has great trouble speaking to big groups of people. Felicity is the daughter of Mama, older sister of Frannie, and niece of Aunt Cleo and Uncle Boone. Felicity comes to Midnight Gulch as the latest of stops in a series of moves Mama makes, and falls in love with the town immediately. She wants it to become her home.
