Summary

Chapter 13 – Felicity and Jonah visit Dr. Zook’s Dreamery Creamery, the only ice cream store in the world that carries all 45 Zook flavors. They eat ice cream and look across the street to Ponder’s Pie Shop, which was once a pub called Poet & Pauper. The Ponders are descendants of the Smiths, who owned Poet & Pauper, which used to make pies with actual secrets baked into them, not merely written down and slipped inside. He explains that people still believe that some believe the pies still have a snicker of magic, or a small amount of magic, in them.
