Summary

A week later, Tommy and Franklin beging to work on Morty’s will. They remove the heavily armed, very expensive vase and send it to be appraised. Franklin finds three envelopes inside the vase. Tommy promises to look at them later as the auctioneer will arrive soon. A week earlier, Nick is on a plane to Los Angeles. The seat pocket has Morty’s third book remission in which he had the girl main character killed and the others survived. He has been talking to Merry who promises not to go to the tabloids about their night together. Nick feels he knows Morty even less than before, but realizes he must invent his own rendition for the movie.

The narration returns to Merry, who is happy that Tommy is returning all of her emails. Stuart is threatening a takeover of the museum...
