Chapters 10 - 12 Summary

Bailey notices in Chapter 10 that the children of the neighborhood don't play with Todd. now. Ethan doesn't go to his house. When he comes around Bailey and Marshmallow feel his presence with fear. One night Bailey smells Todd on the other side of the fence. He barks and Todd goes away.

Bailey likes summer when they go to the Farm. He learns all the smells and sounds on the way to the town. One day when they are in the town, Bailey sees a dog catching a plastic disk. When they get home Ethan goes to his room to start making "the flip," a cross between a frisbee, a boomerang and a baseball. When Ethan throws it Bailey can't catch it and Ethan becomes discouraged.
