Summary

For her first trial, Fayre is placed in a tunnel maze with a giant, ferocious worm that wants to eat her. She runs through the maze to try and get away, but realizes that she must kill the worm to survive. She finds a hole where the worm cannot find her and uses bones to set up a trap. She then uses those same bones as a ladder to get out and lures the worm to her trap. She jumps down into the hole, breaking her arm. But when the worm follows her, it is impaled on the sharp bone trap she made. She wins, and is returned to her cell.
