Chapters 61 - 64 Summary

Melanie and Kevin wait to hear from Wes. Kevin is impatient, but Melanie reminds him that there is some good coming out of this such as their ability to reunite. Wes gets a call from Dismas and meets him at the Little Shamrock. They talk about Kevin and Dismas assures Wes that Abe would not have sent a D.A.'s investigator to search his home, so Wes agrees to talk to him again. Simms reports to Reston, telling him about the meeting, and making the presumption that it is merely two colleagues talking. Abe talks to Art Drysdale, bringing him up to date on the newest information surrounding Chris Locke's death. Art reminisces and misses Locke. Abe asks him about the Pacific Moon case, and he confirms that it was dismissed because evidence was inconclusive.
