Chapters 51 - 55 Summary

After having dinner with Loretta, they take a walk on the beach and though she invites him in, Abe knows they both have responsibilities they should be attending to. She goes home and he returns to the office to find it is a mad house. A riot breaks out on the ground floor and for a while, it is mayhem. Small fires are started inside, and many of the rioters being detained escape in the melee. Abe goes in the back, and is told that some people feel he is not spending enough time and resources investigating the killing of one of their own, Chris Locke.
