Chapters 41 - 45 Summary

Elaine goes down to hear the results from Arthur Wade's autopsy, and learns little news. Back in her office, she finds the photographer from the lynching sent her another photo. This one shows the knife in the victim's hand. Going down to the media room, she makes a speech about how Kevin must be brought in to face charges. When a reporter corners Abe, he can only say that they are gathering evidence and when asked about the photo, that it is open to interpretation. Wes makes the decision to help Kevin, but warns him that if he is guilty, he will hunt him down and kill him.
