why ammonia reacts with hydrogen ion will form a postive product??????Why the final product is not 2+ but 1+?

The ammonia atom donates 2 electrons to hydrogen ion, it itself loses 2 electrons, why the final product is not 2+???

NH3 + H+ = NH4+

Ammonia +Hydrogen ion radical = ammonium salt of the acid .
