These are weak bonds between hydrogen atom and other elements.It is not as strong as covalent bonds and usually leads to easy dissociation of the free hco3 ions as well as h+ ion example is the weak buffer hydrogen carbonate/carbonic acid body buffer sysytem.H+/HCO3-
