Dear brother Louie Giglio, I have watched your film Indescribable.. I am a student at Moody Bible Institute online classes right now. Before I ask my question I wanted to let you know I agree that science and philosophy both go together with biblical teaching. Now modern science is excluding biblical philosophy about science, thus making science separate from the bible. Science today claims that the earth is billions of years old or more. Part of their explanation of this is astrological. They claim that the earth is that old because it takes 14,000,000,000 light years for the furthest galaxy to show earth its light. Because light travels at 5,865,696,000,000 miles per year, it takes that light 14,000,000,000 light years, from this galaxy to reach earth. That means that the galaxy they are referring to is at least 14,000,000,000 light years old. If God created the heavens and the earth in the beginning, does that mean, that was 14,000,000,000 years ago? Or is the beginning not more than 10,000 years ago? When getting into ministry where God wants me to serve I might be imposed with this question. How do I answer? Your brother, RJ

This is not Louie, but who is to say that God didn't create the galaxy in motion where that light from 14 billion light years out was already here in order for us to try to grasp how large our God is.
