A king's crown has a volume of 110cm3 and a mass of 1,800g. The density of gold is 19.3g/cm3. Is the crown pure gold?

Actually, it is not. The density of teh crown is equal to mass/volume. Which means 1800g/110cm3 which equals 16.36g/cm3. So, no, it is not all gold.
