Viruses are either rna or dna obligate intracellular parasites meaning they cannot exist on their own and must live inside a host cell of a victime.bacteria can live independently, so they can take up antibiotics drugs on their own, that can now interact with them and kill them hence the name antibiotics.Viruses change their cover rapidly using the host mechanism to evade attack by antibiotics. The drugs will likely be removed or destroyed by the host before it can reach the cirus so that is why they do not work fo viruses.Plane helps spread of contagion or vviruses because they are actually airborne. So a flight can quickly carry viruses in the noses of passengers across thousands of kilometers more quickly than any other means.
