Genotypic ratio refers to the small group of individuals/specimens that are likely to show various genotypes in a hybridization. A genotype is the allele combination for a specific genetic trait.

Phenotypic ratio refers to the percentage (or fraction) of individuals/specimens likely to display phenotypes in a hybridzation. A phenotype is the physical appearance (not the gene).
