Selective breeding is when a trait is chosen and when that trait shows dominant, that individual is bred either to another individual with the same dominant trait, or one with the recessive trait. Then when another individual is born with that trait as dominant, it is bred with another with the dominant characteristic. Eventually, this trait will become dominant in almost all pairings thereafter and the trait is established.
