professionals who study social behavior investigate the immediate cause and effect and try to find a solution without looking into the root cause of any problem.A battered women is a victim of domestic violence while the cognitive trauma is a domain of the cognitive sciences. The wide disparity in the study of social behavior on one hand and the study of cognitive science on the other makes it difficult to accept one science over the other,Professionals restrict themselves to their own domain of knowledge.

eg: Medical science will use truth serum to find the truth of a person while theological professionals will seek confessions to hear the truth from a person.
