why do we have dna?

DNA (deoxyribonucliec acid) is the genetic material that makes each living organisim what it IS. DNA determines what sex the organism is, how many fingers, toes, talons, skin, where the organs in the body will develop. It is basically body central. Without DNA any organism would cease to exist.
