One example of climate effect on plants and animals would be that certain plants and animals exist ONLY in a narrow range of territory, owing mostly to the fact that they have very specific requirements in order to reproduce.

Secondly, certain plants and animals are not suited or adapted for hot, humid weather. Their fur is too thick, or in the case of plants, they require a cooling season in order to germinate seeds.

Lastly, certain animals and plants have specific nutritional requirements and as such some of these only occur in certain climate.
