It is a normal behavioural response for any person emerging from a difficult relationship or situation to become isolationist in tendency. This is a defensive mechanism to avoid a repeat of such situations.Having fought the British colonial masters in recurring wars as well as internal conflicts dgenerating into civil war, one would really like to be alone to maintain some peace.Call it take a break that is well deserved.
