did celsus discover the symptoms of infection?

Yes He did discover the symptoms of infection. I found the answer to this in my Intro to A & P book. Taking classes for RN.

Dolor[dullness or contusion],Calor [redness],swelling[tumor],and loss of function were the 4 basic signs of infection discovered by celsus.
