Chris pointed the gun at Emily's head. However, Emily placed her hand over the trigger. This leaves the reader wondering if Chris helped Emily escaper her misery, or did she force the trigger.
We dont really know if chris or emily pulled the trigger because cris had aimed the gun at emilys head but then emily placed her hand over the trigger and the gun goes off. In my Opinion i think it was Emily because she wanted everything to go away.
