Creon and Antigone are each locked into a course of action that they are unwilling to stray from. In one respect, Antigone is going against the norms in what she is about to do, but on the other hand, she also feels morally compelled to take care of her family and attend to the business at hand. Creon is looking at the whole ordeal from a purely political standpoint. He argues that what he must do is for the good of the country and she must put the needs of the many ahead of the needs of the few as a good queen. She argues that the loyalty to family is more important..... Creon will eventually learn that she was right.
