Using a calculator-make sure it is set to deg. Look at the top of the screen and it should say DEG and not RAD input 42 Push "sec" Sec 42 degrees=1.34 This is also the same as Sec 42 degees=1/cos 42 degrees The other option is to use a standard trig chart http://math2.org/math/trig/tables.htm Find 42 degrees on the table and then look across to the Sec column
