2x^2 -3x-15=5

2x^2 -3x-15-5=5-5

2x^2 -3x-20=0

(x )(2x ) ( -4)( +5)=0

(x-4) (2 x+5) = 0

Solve:

(x-4)=0

x-4+4=0+4

x=4

Solve:

(2 x+5) = 0

2 x+5-5 = 0-5

2x=-5

2x/2=-5/2

x=-5/2
