(2x -6) / y * z for x = 12, y = 6, z = 4

First subtitute in numbers for variables

=(2x -6) / y * z

=(2*12-6)/6*4

PEMDAS

=1/6(2*12-6)*4

=1/6(24-6)*4

=1/6(18)*4

=3 *4

=12
