Two-Nation theory was the basis of the creation of Pakistan. The theory states that Muslims and Hindus are two separate nations from every definition, with their own customs, religion, and traditions. The theory was put into place with the Partition of India in 1947, which involved the division of two provinces, Bengal and Punjab. The division was based on district-wide non-Muslim or Muslim majorities.
