Freedom of religion insures the right to choose one's religious beliefs without cohersion or intimidation. It guarantees the freedom to openly practice those beliefs, rituals or traditions in the society in which one finds one's self. Most importantly, freedom of religion insures our freedom to reject any set of religious beliefs that do not stand up to critical examination of our personal convictions.
