Most of the people in Ancient Egypt belonged to one of the three main classes. The upper class included the pharaoh, his family, rich landowners, priests and doctors. The middle class was comprised of traders, merchants and craftsmen. The lowest class consisted of unskilled workers. In addition, Ancient Egypt had many slaves, who were taken when the Egyptians conquered foreign countries.
