Susan has worked for Merrick/Singer for two years. She is a researcher in organic chemistry and is working towards her doctorate. She lives alone, without husband or children. She is a spy, who actually works for Geoffrey Merrick's former partner Dan Singer, and is an active part of the plot to kidnap Merrick and try him for crimes against humanity. She has a violent streak, and isn't above using it, shooting Merrick when she realizes Juan's crew is there to rescue him.
