She learns that high-powered Cardinal Roark and a killer named Kevin are killing prostitutes and eating them, and she goes on the run. She seduces big, mean Marv, thinking that he can protect her, but Kevin sneaks into the room in the middle of the night and murders her. Marv swears to get revenge for Goldie's death.
