Cora Higgins is the London prostitute that Mack lives with during the coal heavers strike. Cora is set up by Lennox and Jamisson for pick pocketing. In order to gain a reprieve, she gives false testimony and is recommended for transport. After arriving in the colonies, Cora is purchased by a Falmouth tobacco broker, Alexander Rawley. The couple later marries.
