Ariel Weitz is a Jewish prisoner in the Totenhausen Camp. He is rumored to be a pedophile, and he is well known to be Herr Brandt's pet prisoner. He is given special privileges for his assistance to the Nazis, and he is most often viewed as a weakling, who grovels to the Nazis. To his own people, he is considered a traitor.

Ariel, however, uses his position as "pet" to gain access to many areas of the camp, as well as Nazi secrets, which he then forwards to British intelligence. The information he gathers assists Brigadier Smith in bringing the camp down.
